Personal Update
Book... Book... Book; that has been our focus almost completely over the last two weeks. (but it's all worth it... "Lifting the Lid on Quiet Achievers" is almost ready for take-off!)
To stop us going insane from all the hours in the office, we have had some outings. I spent a weekend skydiving at The Jump Shack in Corowa with Noreen Keuning and Kerrie's dad, Ross Stockings.
It was great fun because we got to use a bigger plane than normal and jump from 14,000ft instead of the usual 10,000ft. This also gave us the chance to share the fun and excitement of bigger formations with Noreen who for the first time did a skydive with more than 4 people. Well done Nors.
Not only did we have a great time but it was also a time of learning - for flying techniques and having insights into my thinking.
While I was away Kerrie attended the Jazz & Coffee morning at Red Earth Estate. She caught up with friends there and enjoyed a few hours in the sunshine.

Kerrie also went to one of the most fascinating Chamber of Commerce Breakfasts to date and met Michael Lysaght from Country Energy's Intelligent Network who are making our electricity network more efficient and reliable, and are at the forefront of some amazing innovations. Meeting inspiring difference-makers like Sally Oulton is always a highlight for Kerrie. Sally is the managing director of Go Fair who specialise in providing fair-trade, multi-cultural and educational toys and resources to children aged between 0 and 6 years.

The last of the book was sent off to for editing in the wee hours of this morning and we could not have done it without the support of others who have done some editing for us and gave us some great feedback. We appreciate you all! Here we are going over chapters with Jacqui Greig and Nathan Shooter. These stories are really inspiring and helpful and I found them quite gripping!
Today Success tip is from the amazing Coach, Author and Speaker Kerrie Phipps, sharing on the expectations we have about completing our goals on time.
Have an awesome week!

Should we expect to achieve all our goals in our set time frame?
Achieving goals on time, every time – who does that?! Around 80% of my clients achieve ALL of their goals in the intended time-frame, sometimes sooner, which is exciting. (Bear in mind that they have committed to a process of fast-tracking their achievements) However, there are often goals that are more challenging than expected, or there are random interruptions that occur throughout life, such as sickness or technical delays. It's also quite common to set unrealistic goals, especially if you have really high expectations of yourself!
It can be disheartening to feel like your goal is too far off, but it’s important to remember two things.
1. Keep Moving! It doesn’t really matter how fast you’re achieving goals, just don’t let discouragement stop you in your tracks. Keep focused on the big picture and keep moving forward, little steps at a time. Celebrate the little achievements too - there's learning, and a sense of satisfaction that can energise you to keep going, just by ticking these things off your list.
2. The journey is often more important than the destination. It’s great to achieve goals, but don’t lose sight of the learning along the way. Who you become on your journey to the goals tends to be more significant than the goal itself.
Enjoy the journey!
