It's School Holidays here, so we've been out and about, researching for the upcoming book and catching up with members of Create the Life Club as we go!

Thank you to all our subscribers who filled in our survey recently!  The working title (and subtitle) of the book, by popular demand is "Lifting the Lid on Quiet Achievers - Success Stories of Regional Entrepreneurs. Thanks also for the great questions you asked me to ask these achievers!  It's an absolute privilege to be creating this inspiring work and speaking with successful entrepreneurs from across Australia and New Zealand. Regional Australia is an amazing place to live and work, or holiday!

I recently lunched with Felicity Newton at Women Out West and we swapped a few exciting ideas.  Felicity runs a program for teenage girls called "Glam it up Galz" which is getting rave reviews from participants and their parents - well done to Felicity and her beautiful team!

Relaxing (or playing and working) at the farm is always a worthwhile trip for many reasons.  I sat at the table at lunch and realised that it was a typical conversation and I loved it!  We often discuss inspiring people, and Dad's often hilarious stories about things he and his friends get up to (especially the college-days stories).  It amazes me how Mum and Dad's network reaches many, many places around the globe - and they're not even on the internet! (yet...)

As we bring the book together to go to the printers in 6 weeks, we're also creating more ways of supporting entrepreneurs to Create the Life You Want, especially in regional and rural areas.  The possibilities are endless, as you''ll see as we introduce you to more and more successful regional entrepreneurs.

To what extent does a harmonious family life affect your financial
success?

I have found that the most successful people in life have a purpose for what they do. It is far more rewarding for me to share my success with my wife and children.

I have been married for over 25 years and having a happy and stable family life is one of my personal values. I feel it supports my financial success and it also provides an opportunity for me to teach and inspire my children to become financially successful.

As a family we discuss money matters, our goals and aspirations and I am grateful for the loving support of my wife and children in the achievement of our goals.

I’ve also discovered that a harmonious family life not only supports your
financial success but also your health and wellbeing.
