We hope you’ve had a wonderful Easter weekend!
For some of our travelling friends, the drive home took almost as much time as the fun time away due to huge traffic delays in and around Sydney, but all are home safe and sound now, no doubt sharing the stories at work today!
We welcomed friends Chris and Wendy Davidson from Sydney as they took some time out from the big smoke for a country experience – two half-days at the Zoo, and an afternoon at the farm in the rain… (it's not totally fun if you don't get a bit wet and muddy!)
The Zoo is a great place to go to relax, see things from a different perspective and slow down a little. For us, of course it's only a 10 minute drive to the zoo and a few hours of meandering... do you have somewhere to go and wind down? Even if it's in your loungeroom with your eyes shut!
It's great to ask yourself every now and then, "How do I best slow down, relax, regenerate?" If you can't think of anything, or remember the last time you felt really refreshed, can I recommend a pen and paper to start listing ideas? Imagine you're totally relaxed... what would you have been doing to be in that state? What ideas come to mind? What can you do this week to relax a little more?
Or perhaps you're thinking that you've been doing too much relaxing lately and are in need of some small wins to get going again... the same simple piece of paper and pen can help you list ideas and get going again. The simple things in life! What a difference they can make.
We were so delighted to hear from Vanessa and Trevor Dwyer on Easter Monday, all the way from Port Headlland! 
Trevor and Lyndon have been great friends since they were 2 years old, and Trevor was our Best Man at our Wedding almost 15 years ago. While we are often introducing new friends in our newsletter, we love and value our life-long friendships so much too. While we miss these guys being around, we're sure that the Port Headland community appreciates them being there! Trevor mentioned that he enjoys getting this newsletter and we are thankful that the internet is a powerful tool for connecting, or reconnecting people, and the distance is not so great.
